I'm a Brooklyn-based art director & wedding photographer with over a decade of experience in editorial and commercial photography.
I was exposed to wedding photography through a mentor, one of Jamaica’s best wedding photographers. She showed me how to observe and document the most minute details without being intrusive. Through this practice, I grew my own photographic style, blending documentary truth with editorial refinement.
This intersection of documentary and editorial practices allow me to work collaboratively yet unobtrusively during your day. I always aim to create spaces and moments that allow for images of pure emotional truth.
Wedding documentation deserves the same attention to light, composition, and narrative as editorial work. I'm drawn to the in-between moments—the quiet glances, the authentic laughter, the tears no one else notices.
My Photography Ethos intentionally chooses an atypical lexicon. I do my best to abstain from the usage of voilent and colonial terms commonly associated with photography. Shoot, capture, take, subject, headshot are all commonly accepted words in the photographic industry.
